Last updated: · reproduced from the official Sonnus® policy
Sonnus® collects the information needed to run the store and fulfil your order, and you can ask to access, correct, delete or port it at any time. This page reproduces the Sonnus® privacy policy, last revised by Sonnus® on 10 December 2025.
Personal information Sonnus® collects or processes
"Personal information" means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you. It does not include information collected anonymously or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be linked back to you. Depending on how you interact with the store, the categories may include:
- Contact details — name, address, billing address, shipping address, phone number, email address.
- Financial information — credit card, debit card and financial account numbers, payment card information, transaction details, form of payment, payment confirmation and other payment details.
- Account information — username, password, security questions, preferences and settings.
- Transaction information — items you view, add to cart, add to wishlist, purchase, return, exchange or cancel, and your past transactions.
- Communications with us — what you include when you contact support.
- Device information — device, browser or network connection, IP address and other unique identifiers.
- Usage information — how and when you interact with or navigate the store.
Where Sonnus® gets that information
- Directly from you — creating an account, visiting or using the store, contacting us.
- Automatically through the services — from your device, and through cookies and similar technologies.
- From service providers who enable certain technology on our behalf.
- From partners or other third parties.
How Sonnus® uses your personal information
- Providing and improving the store — processing payments, fulfilling orders, remembering preferences, handling returns and exchanges, sending notifications, requesting reviews, recommending products.
- Marketing and advertising — email, text message and postal mail, and online advertising on our store and other websites, including based on items you viewed or added to your cart.
- Security and fraud prevention — authenticating your account, investigating suspicious activity, protecting public safety and securing the services.
- Communicating with you — customer support and managing our relationship.
- Legal reasons — complying with applicable law, responding to valid legal process, enforcing terms and policies.
How Sonnus® may disclose your information
- Vendors and third parties performing services on our behalf — IT management, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage, fulfilment and shipping.
- Business and marketing partners, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
- Where you direct, request or consent — for example shipping a product, or using social media widgets and login integrations.
- Affiliates within our corporate group.
- In connection with a merger, bankruptcy or similar transaction, and to comply with subpoenas, warrants and similar legal requests.
Third-party websites linked from Sonnus®
The store may link to websites or platforms operated by third parties. Those sites have their own privacy and security policies. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites, and our inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement. Information you share on third-party social networking platforms may be viewable by other users of those platforms, without limitation as to its use by us or by a third party.
Children's data and Sonnus®
The services are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information may contact us using the details below to request deletion. As of the effective date of this policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" personal information of individuals under 16.
How Sonnus® secures and retains your data
No security measure is perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security". Do not use insecure channels to send us sensitive or confidential information. How long we retain your information depends on the purpose — maintaining your account, providing the services, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes and enforcing contracts and policies.
Your rights and choices with Sonnus®
Depending on where you live, some or all of the following may apply. These rights are not absolute, and in certain cases we may decline a request as permitted by law.
- Access or know — request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Delete — request that we delete personal information we hold about you.
- Correct — request that we correct inaccurate information.
- Portability — receive a copy, or have it transferred to a third party, in certain circumstances and with certain exceptions.
- Opt out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising — where you reside, you may have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "share" of your personal information, or of processing for targeted advertising. If you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signal enabled, we will automatically treat it as a request to opt out for the device and browser you use to visit the website. We do not recognise other "Do Not Track" signals.
- Managing communication preferences — every promotional email carries an unsubscribe option. Opting out does not stop transactional messages such as those about your account or your orders.
If you reside in the UK or the European Economic Area, and subject to local exceptions and limitations, you also have the right to object to or restrict processing and to withdraw consent — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request, and where an authorised agent makes a request on your behalf we may require proof of that authorisation.
Complaints about Sonnus® privacy practices
Contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to appeal a decision by contacting us again, or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
International transfers of Sonnus® customer data
We may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country you live in. Where information leaves the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or the equivalent clauses issued by the competent authority of the UK, unless the destination country has been determined to provide an adequate level of protection.
Changes to the Sonnus® privacy policy
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The revised policy is posted with an updated revision date, and further notice is provided where required by applicable law.
